Sagar Utekar

Sagar Utekar is a Site Reliability Engineer at CrowdStrike with 9+ years of experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure at scale. He is a CNCF Ambassador, Docker Captain, and Kubestronaut - holding all five CNCF Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCNA, KCSA). A passionate community builder, Sagar leads the Cloud Native Community Group (CNCG) Pune, Docker Pune, OpenSearch Pune and organizes Kubernetes Community Days (KCD) Pune, Cloud Native Day (CND) Pune. He recently gave the Opening Keynote at the Project Lightning Talks at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2026. Sagar speaks regularly at conferences and meetups on Kubernetes, SRE practices, AI/LLM infrastructure, and observability - including talks on running AI workloads efficiently on GPUs, large-scale IaC migrations, and AI agent governance. He also creates educational content on YouTube and LinkedIn, helping thousands of engineers learn cloud-native technologies through hands-on, engineer-to-engineer teaching. When he's not debugging production or organising meetups, you'll find him building homelab Kubernetes clusters with GPUs - just for fun.
